Nina Zenik is a Grisha, a Heartrender to be precise. She can control peoples heartbeat, maybe their emotions, and she can change their faces, This is her power. She came to Ketterdam as a lost 16 year old girl. She was going to join Pekka Rollins but Kaz sent Inej to Nina to talk her out of it and convince her to join them. Inej succeeded and turns out Nina made the right choice, since a girl died the next day at the place she was going to work at. She really likes Inej but hates Kaz. She is also a soilder for the army in Ravka. The reason she decided to stay in Ketterdam is because she wanted to save Matthias Helver. You will find out who Matthias Helver is later.
